Revisiting their Engagement Spot at Wetley Moor Alpacas 🦙💍
There’s something really special about couples who want to slow things down after the big day – and Kim & Steve absolutely nailed it. With some post-wedding alpaca walking!
Just a few days after their wedding at Moddershall Oaks, they got back in touch and said they wanted to take some relaxed photos… somewhere meaningful. Where did they choose? None other than Wetley Moor Alpacas – the very spot where Steve popped the question!

Recreating the Moment (But With Wedding Alpacas This Time)
When we arrived at Wetley Moor, it was like stepping into their little memory bubble. The fields, the quiet, the alpacas pottering about – it all held a bit of magic for them, and it was a joy to capture it.
We walked, laughed, dodged a few curious alpaca noses, and recreated some of the love and excitement of their original engagement… but this time, with wedding rings on and a little more calm in the air. No pressure. No timeline. Just the two of them (and a few fluffy friends) enjoying the moment.
Why Do a Post-Wedding Shoot?
A post-wedding shoot like this is honestly such a good idea. It gives you a breather after the chaos and excitement of your wedding, lets you reconnect, and gives you a chance to wear something comfy (or re-wear your wedding outfits like Kim & Steve!). For these two, it was also about honouring where it all began.
If you’re thinking about doing something a little different to celebrate your engagement, wedding or anniversary – I cannot recommend wedding alpacas enough. They make every photo 20% more hilarious and 100% more memorable.
