Who wouldn’t want 2023 be the year of Thrive!? To be successful and pushing the creative boundaries! Learning from some leading experts, but also to form new friendships with those who are like minded.

In 2022, I saw an instagram reel for the Photography Farm conference, named Thrive… I thought about whether this conference was for me, if I would benefit from this. 5 minutes later, I booked and paid for the ticket! The video sold it to me. March 2023 came, I endured an almost 5hour journey down south. With pitta crisps, mango and mini twirls keeping me motivated to get down as close to 7pm as possible! I got there late. HOWEVER… plans didn’t change and I am so grateful. I spoke briefly to a couple of solo attendees and was invited to have pizza with more photographers! From there, I met the best group of ladies who I was able to hang with, speak to and also learn from!

Monday came…. Breakfast was eaten and the registrations began. I WAS READY TO LEARN! The running order – Igor Demba, Jodie Mitchell, Taylor Jackson, LUNCH!!!! Sam Docker, Lilly Red and finally Rebecca Carpenter. What a line up! What I learn’t…. It isn’t about luck, it is about pushing the creativity, working hard, self care, looking after yourself and your website. Learning about yourself and then constantly learning about yourself and your vision for the business. By finding this clarity, I am positive it is going to steer me and my business into the right direction.

Tuesday came and I had booked a shoot slot with Igor (which I won! WHOOP) and Rebecca Carpenter. I know that this is a styled shoot, I know that not every couple is going to be comfortable in front of the camera. What I do know is my camera and what it can do for me and my clients.
