Weddings at Sefton Park Palm House are always a joy to shoot, but when you add in the fun-loving energy of Debbie and Jennie, it becomes something truly special. From vibrant details to lots of laughs, their wedding was the perfect fusion of tradition, colour, and sheer happiness.

The Perfect Setting: Sefton Park Palm House

Sefton Park Palm House holds a special place in Jennie’s heart. As a child, she used to visit the tropical glasshouse with her grandparents, and it’s always been a dream of hers to get married there. It’s easy to see why! With its towering glass dome and lush greenery, the venue feels like a magical, tropical oasis in the middle of Liverpool. For Debbie and Jennie, it was the perfect backdrop for their fun, carefree day.

The couple’s personalities shone through the whole wedding. Debbie’s Chinese heritage added a beautiful cultural layer to the day, with nods to tradition, while Jennie wanted everything to feel colourful and light-hearted. And trust me – it was!

Getting Ready: Laughter, Hairspray, and Happy Vibes

The day kicked off with lots of laughter as both brides got ready. Jennie, with her effortlessly chic hairstyle (thanks to Hair by Hannah Liverpool) and glowing makeup by Jclaytonmakeup, was full of excitement and smiles. Debbie, looking absolutely stunning with hair and makeup by Tina from Snapshot Café, was equally relaxed. It was clear from the start that this was going to be a day all about fun – no stress, just good vibes.

From the first click of my camera, you could feel how excited they were, and it made capturing those candid moments an absolute dream!

A Ceremony Full of Love (and Laughter!) | Sefton Park Palm House Wedding

The ceremony itself was the heart of the day. With friends and family flying in from Dubai, Hong Kong, and all over, the room was buzzing with excitement. Surrounded by exotic plants and diffused sunlight inside Sefton Park Palm House, Debbie and Jennie exchanged their vows, and it was both emotional and full of laughs – just like the couple themselves.

Their friends and family were cheering them on, and there wasn’t a dry eye in the house (including mine behind the camera at some points!).

Celebrations, Cakes, and Loads of Fun

Now, onto the fun part – the celebration! Debbie and Jennie had thought of everything. The venue was decorated with quirky, colourful touches all sourced by the couple themselves, and it really reflected their playful personalities.

And the cakes? Oh, there were two cakes! A traditional English wedding cake from Western Cake and a beautiful Chinese cake from Bon Bons Bakery to celebrate Debbie’s heritage. Both were absolutely stunning (and delicious, from what I heard!).

The food, catered by Dine, was a hit, keeping everyone fuelled for a night full of dancing and fun. Speaking of dancing, the live band Tuxedo had everyone up on their feet, and the dance floor was packed from the moment the music started.

A Day Wedding to Remember at Sefton Park Palm House

Photographing Debbie and Jennie’s Sefton Park Palm House wedding was an absolute joy. Their love for each other shone through every moment – from the cheeky grins during their vows to the non-stop laughter as they danced the night away. They didn’t take themselves too seriously, and that’s what made their day so special.
