Dubai might not have been a work-heavy trip, but when you’re a photographer, there’s always a camera involved somewhere! I recently jetted off to the UAE, mixing business with a little bit of leisure, and it was the perfect blend of work and play!

A Quick Stop at The Palm & A Catch-Up Over Lunch
One of my first stops was The Palm, where I met up with a good friend for lunch at Little Neighbourhood Restaurant. Great food, good company, and a perfect little spot to soak in Dubai’s buzzing energy. My friend also happens to run an amazing company called Decolights, creating stunning light pictures that add a unique artistic touch to any space.
Exploring Dubai Mall & A Mini Couple Session
No trip to Dubai is complete without a visit to Dubai Mall, a place that feels more like an entire city than a shopping centre! Between the high-end stores and impressive indoor attractions, I squeezed in a mini couple’s session, capturing some romantic moments amidst the modern architecture. Shooting in such a dynamic, bustling location was a fun challenge, and I loved incorporating the city’s energy into the photos.

Aerial Artistry with Mid-Air Circus
The real purpose of my trip, though, was to work with Mid-Air Circus and their dance school. We organised an incredible studio aerial shoot, showcasing the strength, elegance, and artistry of aerial performers. It was an amazing experience to capture movement and emotion in such a unique setting, and I can’t wait to share more from this project!
Wrapping Up
Although this trip was a quick one, it was packed with creative moments, good food, and catching up with inspiring people. Keep an eye out for more images from the Mid-Air Circus shoot—you won’t want to miss them!
Until the next adventure, Dubai!
