I had the pleasure of shooting Natalie and Kayne’s wedding back in May 2023, and just a few months later, I got to capture their beautiful family again. This time with their precious newborn, Hallie! Family is More Than Just Humans

It’s always such an honour when couples invite me back into their lives to capture more than just the wedding day. Hallie’s newborn baby photoshoot was a lovely reminder of how important pets are to a family. Koby, the cutest doggo, played a big role in this shoot. I’m so glad they included him. Dogs are part of the family too, and I truly believe they should be involved in these memories. Whether it’s a newborn shoot, family portraits, or anything else.

The Importance of Pet-Friendly Baby Photoshoots

One thing I love to make clear is that dogs (and pets in general) are always welcome at my shoots! They bring such joy and personality to family photos. Let’s face it—they’re often the ones who get the most love in the photos anyway.

It was so sweet to see Koby interact with Hallie, and capturing those moments was such a pleasure. The love between them all was so apparent. I can’t wait to see these memories grow with Hallie as she gets older (and as Koby continues to be the big brother).
